Grief Ministry/Bereavement Team offers spiritual support to people in various stages of grieving. On November 2nd, All Souls Day, a Mass and reception are held for families in remembrance of the deceased. During the year, the Grief Support Group has gatherings and workshops to help in the grieving process.

Parish Pastoral Council

We, the people of God of St. Joseph parish, come together to establish a parish council. We are a group of committed Christians unified in the service and work of God; a group of colleagues which carries out the decisions it makes to the end. We will concern ourselves not only with buildings and finances, but most importantly, with the formation of people in Christ. We assume the responsibility for Christ’s mission in our community.

Eucharistic Ministers to the Sick and Shut-ins bring Communion on a regular basis to those who are unable to attend Mass. The visits are arranged at a time convenient for both the person being served and the Eucharistic minister.

Finance Council

Parish Finance Council assists the pastor in the administration of parish temporal matters. An active, well-formed Parish Finance Council is a key element for promoting the financial health of a parish, assuring accountability and assisting the pastor with his temporal responsibilities.

In the administration of temporal goods of the parish, Canon 532 defines the role of the pastor as the authoritative representative of the parish.
