8th Grade Homeless SleepOut, Friday November 16. We will be spending the night in a box to bring awareness to the growing problem of youth home- lessness. The project is two-fold in that it is not only to bring about understanding and empathy for the homeless, but also to raise money for bags that will be given during the Christmas season. We will use the money to fill bags with essential supplies, such as, hats, gloves, snacks, water, etc. Our goal is to fill 21 bags, one for each student. If you are not able to donate please pray for the success of our project! Collection will begin Friday evening starting at 7:30pm-7:00am. We will be accepting hats, gloves and begging for money. Come see our box city located between the school and the cafeteria. If you are not able to stop by, send your donation with one of the 8th graders. Thank you for your prayers and support

The Knights of Columbus is sponsoring a program through Cross Catholic Outreach for a Christmas project called "Box of Joy". It's an opportunity to do something very special for children wherever the missionaries are working, by providing them a Christmas gift. This project can be done by individuals, or groups and only involves buying a few simple items along with a $9 donation to be put in the shoebox. There are 100 boxes still to fill! What an awesome project to do with your family to spread Joy to another child! Maybe each of your children could do a box for the needy. You are encouraged to include a hand written note or card and photo if you would like. Boxes due back for shipping by November 11th. Contact Vic Struble 620-399-0348.
