Happy Spring!
Lord, thank You for the spring and the hope of warmer, brighter days. Thank You for the flowers that bloom at our feet, the green grass, and the song of the birds. For all things fair we see and hear, Father in heaven, we thank Thee! Amen.

Happy Thanksgiving from 4th Grade!

4th grade enjoyed our Thanksgiving feast we have every year! We are THANKFUL for our wonderful cooks, Mrs. Pauly and Mrs. May, who make us great meals every day! We enjoyed eating outside on this beautiful fall day and are able to enjoy the patio and picnic tables because of families who donated money in memory of loved ones. We wish everyone a Blessed Thanksgiving!
Turkeys n Dressing!

In 4th grade, the students disguise a turkey to try and get it past Thanksgiving dinner without being eaten! They also have to persuade their readers why their turkey should not get eaten on Thanksgiving by writing about it! The turkeys will be voted on by the upstairs classes and staff in the next couple of weeks! This is always a fun project in 4th grade!
We hope you all have a Blessed Thanksgiving!
4th Grade Saints!

The kids did an awesome job memorizing their fact and sharing it our annual Saints Parade! They then come back to the classroom and read a speech about their saint. We will also have our saints parties this afternoon put on by our wonderful room parents! We appreciate everything PTO does for our school!
Respect Life Week!

Here are a few pictures of our Respect Life Week that we celebrated last week! And we had the CS Fire Department visit for Fire Safety Week! We learned that life begins at conception and ends at our natural deaths. We will continue to pray for ALL LIVES and take care of each other and others. We have some opportunities to do so with the Cardinal Care Food Drive and St. Jude Walk-a-thon. We are also wrapping up the first quarter already!

Vet Clinic Visit!

In 4th grade we started our biology unit, so we took a walking field trip to the vet clinic where Dr. Brandon gave us a tour of the facility along with what he does on a normal day. And we got to see a dog getting its teeth cleaned! Thank you Dr. Brandon for taking the time to make learning more fun and hands on! We will start learning about animal cells next week!

Back to School Prayer
Dear God,
Thank you for the gift of a new school year.
Please guide me with Your wisdom and help me to do my best.
Bless my teachers, classmates, and all who help me learn.
Grant me the courage to face challenges,
the kindness to help others,
and the patience to grow in my knowledge and faith.
Protect me and my friends,
and help me to be a light of Your love in all I do.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
