We had a wonderful time dure our field trip to the Kansas Food Bank, Keeper of the Plains, and CityArts!

 

We are counting down to summer in the 5th grade class with a fun activity everyday!

During St. Joseph the Worker week we got to learn how to make a rosary! Thank you to our volunteers that helped us learn this new skill!

The 5th Grade did a wonderful job presenting the Stations of the Cross to the whole school!

The 2nd meet went well and they tied for 1st place!!

St. Joseph's 4-6th graders did a fantastic job at the Music Fest! They are all very talented and have wonderful voices! The 5th graders also did a vocal and instrumental ensemble! I am so proud of how they are involved and trying new things!

The Battle of the Books team had their first meet! They took second place and they had a great support team behind them!

They got to work in groups to create leprechaun traps to trap a leprechaun. With the supplies that they had they thought outside the box in order to create their traps!

The 5th and 6th grade Religion Bowl teams did a wonderful job representing St. Joseph at the Religion Bowl!

Monday: Celebrating Our Community & Nation (Dress Crazy)

Tuesday: Student Day (Twin Day)

Wednesday: Celebrate our Faculty, Staff, & Volunteers (Dress as a teacher)

Thursday: Celebrate Our Vocation (Dress like a Disney Character)

Friday: Celebrate Our Grandparents! We had a fun day with our Grandparents!

One of 5th grades favorite tradition is making Gingerbread houses with Kindergarten!

We had volunteers come in to teach the 5th and 6th grade how to make mats for the homeless.

The students got to do a Thanksgiving STEM activity where they had to create a way that the farmer can feed the turkeys because the farmers leg is broken.

They did a wonderful job on their research about their Saint!

Then they got to celebrate with a party!

The students did a great job persevering through the Walk-A-Thon!

We created art projects for the nursing home! Then we took them and delivered them and decorated their sidewalks with chalk!

The fire department came and taught the students about smoke detectors.

Of course we had to take a funny one!

Monday: All Lives Matter! They got to dress up as characters from the minion movie!

Wednesday: Grace at Every Age! Decade Day

Thursday: Life is a Gift! Dress like someone who takes care of someone else!

The 5th grade class learned a lot of new safety tips at safety day!

This year is going to have a lot of new adventures! Can't wait to see them grow and learn! Please let me know if you ever need anything!
