5th Grade

For this activity the students had to figure out how to get the food from the house (kleenex box) to the turkeys pen (paper plate). They could only use the items that they were given in order to create a way that the farmer could feed the turkeys from the house!

They did a wonderful job saying their facts about their Saint's at the Saint parade!

They also had a blast at their party!

It was kind of a cold morning, but they walked many laps for St. Jude!

The teams had amazing sportsmanship! It was fun to watch them play!

The fire department came out to teach the kids about fire safety day. They had a blast!

The students had a blast during the dress up days and activities for Respect Life Week!

Tuesday: "Put Others First" Wear red, white and blue!

Wednesday: "Family" Dress up as any stage in life

Thursday: "Caring for those in need" Dress up as someone who takes care of someone else

The 5th grade learned a lot of new safety items while at Safety Day!

The students had a blast at the State Fair! Here is a picture of 4-6th grade before they got to go an explore!

I am horrible at remembering pictures. So we missed the first day of school picture, but we got the second day! Second day was even better because it was a Friday!

The 5th grade got to go to CityArts and the Mid-America All-Indian Museum for their field trip! At CityArts they got to make stamps and mosaics. Then at the Indian Museum they learned about some of the rituals and games that they would participate in!

The students had a wonderful time at D.A.R.E. camp and learned a lot of interesting things about the ones that help our community!

The students had a blast during D.A.R.E. class and they got to graduate the other night! They had to write an essay about the class and Cora took 2nd place and Aidan took 1st place!
